The image above is a view of the BC Laserworks laser cutter. If the cutter isn't currently being used, the shop is often too dark to see anything. If it's light enough, you should be able to see the table where we place the material being cut. The laser rides on the gantry above the table.

When cutting small sheets of material, we need to cover the table to maintain the vacuum. We often use news paper to do this.
